Emojis have been around for almost 20 years, and their use is constantly increasing. Some use them instinctively, others perhaps too much… In any case one thing is sure, we all know them.
It’s an organization, called the Unicode Consortium, which is responsible for defining and choosing which emojis can be used on your smartphones and other communication media.
Microbiologist 2.0 : This is the good news of the day for you ! In fact, the Unicode Consortium announced in early February the validation of 157 new emoticons, including 5 related to the topic of microbiology.
