andjee, Project Manager at the ASA company and Mrs Riouall, Lab Technician, are both using the MIXWEL blender for more than one year.
We visited them recently for a customer satisfaction survey. They accepted to talk about their blender:
“We divided by 3 the blending time, for the same result”
Protocol with an old blender = 3 min blending
Protocol with a MIXWEL = 1 min blending
“as the microorganisms’ extraction is much better with the MIXWEL, we have been able to reduce the blending time. In only 1 minute, we now get the same quality of blended sample that we used to reach in 3 minutes with our former blenders. (see Qualitative study “MIXWEL tests”).
“never drilled a bag”
“with our former blenders, we had some time to time drilled bags. We had to clean the complete chamber of the blender and to start again the blending. Since we are using the MIXWEL, we never drilled a bag!”
“a quiet blender, small, with no vibrations”
“our workspace is restricted and we have too many items on the bench. Therefore, we need to optimize the space organization on our bench. Another point is to limit the unpleasant noise disruptions.
The MIXWEL is quiet and small and doesn’t provide any vibration at all. We installed it on the same bench where we have other sensible equipment without spoiling their functioning.”

“The only time we needed to contact Alliance Bio Expertise for technical support, we got a very quick reply and received the spare parts the day after.
